How tuition works

What sets tuition

Tuition depends on the student's group, how many classes a week they attend and whether they train in the kids', teen and adult or family classes. The figures are on the enrollment page, and we go over them with you at the first class, in writing, before you agree to anything.

Holding a place

A place in a class is held once you finish enrolling. When a class is full we keep a waitlist and offer places by text, in the order families asked. Kids' classes have up to 12 students, teen and adult classes up to 18 and the family class up to 14.

Billing

Tuition is billed monthly by autopay through our parent portal. The next billing date shows on the enrollment page, and we send a reminder before it changes.

Help with tuition

Some families ask about a payment plan or a scholarship. Ask us at the first class whether help is open this month.

Siblings

A second student in the same family is handled differently from the first. We explain how at the first class, because it depends on who trains and when.

Withdrawing

Enrollment runs month to month. To stop, tell us in writing before the next billing date; the month in progress is billed as usual. If your family is on a posting, tell us when you expect to leave and ask about a pause for a deployment, a move or an injury.

Missed classes and make-ups

A missed class can be made up in another class for the same age group during the same session. Tell the front desk ahead and we will find one that fits. Make-ups do not carry into the next session.

Uniforms, gear and other costs

Beyond tuition, a few costs exist, and each is for something specific. The amounts are on the enrollment page.
